What is good posture? - 1 hour
Poor posture can result in muscle tension within and around the shoulder and neck joints and muscles. It can also aggravate headache pain stemming from other causes. Some people find that during stressful situations, posture suffers and breathing patterns may become shallow and tensed. For this reason, it can be helpful to focus on correct posture alongside deep breathing. This workshop will allow participants to alleviate physical discomfort from a hunched over posture, know the benefits of correct posture, and exercises to help achieve this and also take part in finding their correct posture stance in a fun light-hearted way!
Refreshing your mind and body - 45 minutes
The mind is a wonderful tool for observation, concentrating, processing information and in short-thinking. However, when the tool becomes the master, then stress is inevitable! The refresh workshop talks of the definition of stress, how to reduce pressure and stress and what you can do to help feeling this way! Either at Napa Plaza or at home.
Balancing your life - 1 hour
When life is busy, or all your energy is focused on a special project, it's all too easy to find yourself "off balance". by the end of this workshop you will be able to state which areas of life you need to concentrate on and also visualise how balanced to you like to see yourself. You will also know how to set smart goals and be able to differentiate between important and urgent tasks and know the benefits of wellness and relaxation.
Refuel - Healthy eating and practical solutions - 1 hour
Covering how many calories we need, portion sizes. Understanding food labels and healthy snacks, eating out and alcohol and lastly exercise’s that can help.
Rejuvenate - Becoming more active - 1 hour
Why is it important to become more active?
